Years:

1995 and up, 2.2L engine, SOHC are probably best for your choice. This engine is equipped in the Legacy, or Impreza. Price are cheaper.

then 2000 and up 2.2L engine, SOHC, any subby with this engine will be good.

If you like the 2.5L SOHC engine, you will need to see the 2000 and up models (Impreza, Legacy, Forester, Baja). The 2000 or later model tends to be expensive. And if you like get the 2.5L turbo charged engine.

As an advice, stay away from 2.5L DOHC engine (you can open the hood and see the engine has 4 circles on the timing belt cover). The engine had been recall for some head gasket problem.

Of course, the car should be well maintain, not a off-road car...

Really, if you are looking for transportation, 1995 on Imprezas are pretty good cars. If you get them without a turbo, they are usually owned by normal driving people. Just look for one that is in good shape and has the records. You may also want to look at the legacy, as it usually attracts a more mature buyer, and has a little more room, but the impreza is a very nice car.

I had to sell mine when I had kids though, as there just wasnt enough room for a baby seat in the back without having the seats set so forward that it was uncomfortable.

Good usually means base models, without turbo on it. Most turbos are badly abused, and that in Subaru terms, means taking the car off some sweet jumps, hitting the potholes on the gravel road at 60mph, trying to do donuts in a parking lot, and then hitting the curb a few times, not changing oil for months. Subaru will work after these abuses, but will not work like new. The ones that are not abused, work like new well into 200k+ miles. I would look for 2.2l to be sure its good, but most 2.5l if maintained properly, will be good as well. My recommendation is any Subaru Impreza 2.5RS 1999-2009, and I like 2000 and 2001, more than later years. Its much lighter,16.5lbs/hp.

A Maybach is a very large luxury vehicle that is usually driven by a chouffer for high class business men or very wealthy people that want to show their status. The rear seats in a Maybach are large like lazy boy recliners and allow the back seat passengers to stretch out completley, there are also lap top trays that fold down from the back of the front seat so that you can work from the back seat while being driven around. There are also curtains on the rear windows that offer 100% privacy. "jump in the maybach and roll out" simply means "get in the car and go".

Maybach is a car maker that dates from the beginning of the 20th Century. Is not like a Toyota Lexsucks. It came in production in 1909 and is more like Bently or Rolls Royce. Now days is more like Cadillac on the GM world. It merged with Daimler Benz and is a subdivision of such. Is a German high luxury car.

"Maybach has historic roots through the involvement of Wilhelm Maybach, who was the technical director of the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft. The company originally developed and manufactured diesel and gas engines for Zeppelins, and then rail cars."
